Clair De Lune is a piece for voice and piano, set in French from the words of Paul Verlaine's poem of the same name. It is a piece of short duration (2 mins.30 approx.), and will fit in well with a modern romantic repertoire. It is essentially a love song, with colourful descriptions of a specially chosen landscape, which is a metaphor for the soul of the object of his or her desire.
