A Maid Peerless
is a Christmas carol for choir and orchestra. The words are from an
anonymous 15th. century manuscript found in the archives of
Salisbury cathedral. The orchestration includes harp, organ and
percussion, and can be for a large or small complement of players.
The carol may also be sung by
an unaccompanied SATB choir. It is approx. 4 mins. in duration. |
